World University Service of Canada (WUSC) is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, employment and empowerment opportunities to youth around the world. WUSC is working to create a world where all young people can grow up in safe, secure and supportive environments, where they can learn, work and play a vital role in their country’s development.
The International Centre for Studies and Cooperation (CECI) is a Canadian non-governmental organization involved in development, international cooperation and humanitarian assistance that, for more than 50 years, has been fighting poverty and exclusion among the most marginalized communities in Africa, Asia and the Americas.
The International Forum is supported by Uniterra – a WUSC and CECI program – in our efforts to increase awareness of international development among the Canadian public. Uniterra is a leading international volunteer cooperation program. Each year, 600 volunteers contribute their time and experience to positive and lasting change towards a more equitable world by dedicating a few weeks to two years of their lives to international volunteer work. The program also provides opportunities to get involved in Canada and play an active role in combatting poverty. The Uniterra program has a financial support of the Government of Canada, provided through Global Affairs Canada.
